My teen years were such an important part of my faith journey. I'm thankful for youth group and camp and crazy activities. God met me there and brought me here. :)

Thank you for this insightful response. I think it’s also good for kids to be with other kids and have spiritual encounters normalized. I remember being a weird kid even at a Christian school for caring about spiritual things. But at camp, we got to hold both — be silly and have fun and also get serious about what we should be serious about.

starts in January of next year (though we’ll go back for Christmas) and then we will return to Spain in August before school starts.
